I’m traveling this week, so today’s Batman is a quick sketch with my Copic Multiliner brush pen.

A Batman a day #77 -WIP
I had to cut this one short because I’m traveling, but I DID do a Batman today. I’ll come back and finish it when I get back.

A Batman a day #75
For this one I tried a virtual drawing mannequin to help me with posing and light placement. As a result, it has a pretty strong sense of lighting.

A Batman a day #74
This one is just a notebook doodle. No special materials to report.
A Batman a day #73
This one is a quick lunchtime doodle in my Moleskine with a plain old black ballpoint pen.
A Batman a day #72
Tonight I got a delivery from Dick Blick and decided to take my new Sakura brush pens for a spin. So far, I really dig them. It feels a lot more natural to do hatching with a small brush than a Micron pen.
A Batman a day #71
Trying something a little different tonight. More cross hatching, less black. Need to work on my cape. Imagine he’s just chillin with his foot up on a gargoyle. 😉

I decided to do a more detailed version of the split helmet/cowl design from earlier in the week.
